Parents & Children

One of the indelible memories of my childhood takes me back to those moments when I used to accompany my father and uncle to watch them play tennis, it has been a long time since then but maybe something had to do with the fact that I have always felt "at home" when I step on a tennis or paddle court.
Now I am the one who takes my children to the courts and day by day they are improving as sportsmen and women and as people.

In the photo, two of my oldest students at the academy who never miss a Sunday and who enjoy every minute on the courts. Thank you guys for your trust.

As an end of this post I want to remind you what is the role that we must exercise as parents collaborators of sportsmen children, I have extracted it from the course of the Spanish padel federation (FEP):

  • Entrust your child to the coach during
    the whole season (trainings and
    matches). –
  • Do not intervene directly in technical or tactical
technical or tactical decisions related to your
    child and/or his/her team.
  • Accept your child’s triumphs and frustrations.
    frustrations. Do NOT put pressure.
  • Show self-control.
  • Allow your child to make his or her own age-appropriate decisions.
    their age, their own decisions.

Cooperate in:

  • your child’s attendance and punctuality.
  • organisational aspects
